Many of our members have expressed concern over the sale of the horses fields across the road from the tennis courts. The concern is over possible development of the (plots of) land by the purchaser(s)

Barnard Marcus (Auctioneer) and 'Exclusive Property Sales' (Agent) are the parties involved in the sale.

Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council have now placed an Article 4 Direction on the land at Digswell Park Road (see weblink below). The Direction removes permitted development rights, requiring owners to seek planning permission and allowing the Council to take enforcement action if any breaches occur.

The land is further protected by being part of the setting of the grade II listed viaduct
