Tennis and Wet Weather
As tennis is an outdoor sport, every effort will be made for lessons and group sessions to go ahead unless it is unsafe to do so due to extreme weather conditions.
If it's Raining Before the Session
Please wait in a sheltered area nearby, for example:
- In your car
- Neadby cafe
- Bowls cafe
Only walk over to the courts once the rain has eased or stopped.
When Will the Session Start?
Sessions will begin as soon as conditions improve and it is safe to play.
If the rain has not stopped within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time:
- The session will be cancelled / postponed
- Your booking will be moved or credited accordingly
Non-attendance
If a participant chooses not to attend a session which is still running or due to go ahead, the booking will be forfeited.
Session Updates
Any weather-related updates or changes will normally be communicated approximately 1 hour before the scheduled session start time via email or WhatsApp where possible.
If you do not receive any communication regarding bad weather, please assume that the lesson/session is going ahead as normal.
Please be mindful that the coach is often delivering back-to-back sessions throughout the day and may need time to communicate updates to all participants.
