We’re excited to announce that Baseline Edge will be running the LTA Youth Tennis Leaders Course - a nationally recognised leadership programme designed for young people aged 11–18 who love tennis and want to develop confidence, responsibility, and life skills.
Delivered by our Head Coach Diyana Kasabova, LTA Accredited+ Level 3 Tennis Coach, the course provides a fun, supportive, and structured introduction to leadership within tennis. It’s ideal for junior players who enjoy helping others, want to gain volunteering experience, or are interested in future pathways such as coaching, officiating, or sport leadership.
What is the LTA Youth Tennis Leaders Course?
The course combines practical on-court learning with off-court discussions, helping young people understand how tennis sessions are planned and delivered while developing key leadership skills.
Participants will learn how to:
• Support tennis sessions safely
• Communicate effectively and work as part of a team
• Lead simple activities and warm-ups with confidence
• Understand fair play, respect, and inclusion
• Take responsibility within a tennis environment
No previous coaching experience is required, and the course is suitable for all playing abilities.

Course Details
📍 Location: Victory Park, Addlestone
📅 Dates: 19th & 20th February 2026
⏰ Time: 11:00am – 1:00pm
👥 Age group: 11–18 years
The course is delivered over two days, with 2 hours of on-court training each day, followed by an additional 1 hour of practical experience at a future Baseline Edge programme session. Group sizes are kept small to ensure each participant receives individual guidance and support.
