Home of tennis in Berkshire
Berkshire Tennis (Berkshire LTA) are the governing body for tennis in Berkshire. We work in partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) to promote and develop the game of tennis in our area.
Berkshire Tennis is run by a team of volunteers who make up the Council and Management Committee and other sub-committees which provide support and advice to venues, coaches, players, parents and teams in Berkshire. We also employ a small number of part-time staff.
The website provides the latest news and information from Berkshire Tennis and Berkshire Leagues, also useful information for tennis venues, coaches, players and competitions across Berkshire . You can also follow Berkshire Tennis on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. If you have a news story you would like to be added to the website, please contact us

Berkshire Tennis Safeguarding
If you have a general safeguarding query, or would like advice about safeguarding, please contact our Safeguarding officer HERE
Nothing is more important to the LTA than the safety and wellbeing of those involved in our sport. This campaign is aimed at ensuring everyone in tennis is able to keep children and themselves safe from harm. We want to encourage people not to be a bystander – if you have a concern about a child - SAY SOMETHING IF YOU SEE SOMETHING.
New LTA 2021-23 Safeguarding Strategy launched

Direct link to the LTA website, where all venues are listed. To find your local tennis venue, enter your location in the search field.

Understanding Qualification vs Accreditation - for more informtion click HERE
Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being Accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe to practise standards, such as first aid and child protection training.
An Accredited+ Coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally assessed training a coach has. Level 1 and 2 are coaching assistants with Level 5 being the highest available qualification. All coaches displayed on this tool are committed to delivering tennis to people of all ages and from all backgrounds including disability, faith, gender identity, race, sex and sexual orientation.
