The Berkshire Tennis 8U county coaching team will be holding an Open Day for young players who are keen to progress along thier journey in tennis, learning to compete and be part of county training.

The next session will be on Sunday 11th January 2026 at Cox Green Leisure Centre in Maidenhead from 12:00-13:00.

A few key things to consider before signing players up to the free 60min session:

• The emphasis of the session is tennis fun, parent education and informal assessment led by our 8U county captain, Rob Flynn and our 10U Performance Tennis Lead, Nigel Mann.
• Players must be born or reside in Berkshire.
• Players should be born in 2018 (regularly competing), 2019, 2020 or 2021 (intending/starting to compete in internal/expernal competitions).
• Players should be playing/training regularly (and looking to increase their training).
• They should be passionate about tennis!

Parents - please speak to your child's coach about their suitability for the session and please get in touch with Nigel at nigel.mann@berkshiretennis.org.uk if you have any queries about the session.
