Join us for the Berkshire Girls Tennis Festival 2026 - a fun, friendly and inclusive girls-only tennis afternoon for girls in school Years 1–4 (ages 5–9). 

The festival takes place on Saturday 20 June 2026 at Cantley Park and runs as a single, continuous on-court session from 14:00–16:00. Activities are designed for mixed experience levels (beginners welcome), and we’ll use red ball only to ensure the session is accessible and confidence-building for beginners as well as existing players who are keen to try competing. 

Expect a lively mix of warm-up games, team circuits, guided racket skills and simple team match play – focused on enjoyment, social play and positive first experiences. The event will be lead by an all-female team of coaches, assistants, leaders and volunteers.

Parents and carers are warmly invited to an informal Parent Information Session during the on-court activity, sharing practical guidance on girls’ tennis pathways in Berkshire, how to start competition, and next steps after the festival (refreshments provided). 

Participants should bring a bottle of water, wear trainers and clothing appropriate for the weather. All equipment is privided, but they can bring their own racekts if they have them.

The event is free of charge, but places are limited and must be pre-booked.
