Welcome to Chard Tennis Club in Somerset
We are a friendly club that welcomes new members and promotes the playing of tennis for all ages, juniors, seniors and rusty returners!
The club is a lively thriving 3 court club which was formed in the 1920’s. It is based at the Denning Sport’s Field off Zembard Lane with easy access through the football club.
We have an active coaching programme led by our coach Luke Andrews
All levels are catered for with many opportunities for either social or competitive play.
We have 2 outdoor carpet courts which are floodlit and one all weather court.
The carpet courts are soft on the feet, non slip and fit to play on after rain and frost so tennis can continue through out the year. There are also winter league matches for those who like competitive play.
