Welcome to Frome Tennis Club

Pavilion Construction starts Monday 7 February and AGM is on Thursday 17 February

Pavilion Construction starts on Monday 7 February.

A temporary access trackway is being laid across the Mary Baily playing field on Monday and the excavations will start on Tuesday. A secure construction area is being created with steel fencing and whilst the courts will remain open, the clubhouse and toilets will be closed for about 9 weeks.

There is no access into or across the construction site, members and the public must keep out.

Court number 3 will be out of action during construction; it is being used for access and storage. A surface protection mat and the trackway surface is being laid over the tarmacadam to protect the court.

Access to the Community Courts (1 and 2) remains as normal from the playing field but the gate on the club side will be closed

Access to the Club Astro courts is from the shared drive using the gate at the top of the drive. No construction traffic will use this drive whilst the trackway is in place. The gate opposite the clubhouse will be fenced off during construction. After works are over at the end of the day and at the weekend the fence will be opened to allow access to the clubhouse to operate the floodlights. It will be closed off again at the start of works.

We hope the pavilion will be complete by the end of May.
