Hockey
With over 350 members aged 5 to 75, City of Peterborough Hockey Club is one of the largest hockey clubs in the East.
Hockey is played by men and ladies, boys and girls every week – and our aim is to provide a fun, safe and welcoming environment, with the right level of competitive hockey (mixed with the social side) for all.
Whether you want to be a player in our first teams, play regular club or age group representative hockey (from Under 8s to Over 50s), or even just want to take some exercise and meet new friends, we have sessions to suit every age and ability, and an increasing number of coaches to support this.
We run 8 Men’s and 5 Ladies’ league sides who play every Saturday, junior hockey teams for both boys and girls from aged 12 to 18, mini hockey sessions for aged 5 upwards, and Masters teams in Over 45s for Ladies, as well as Men’s Over 40 and Over 50s.
We have a particular focus now on growing our Sunday Mini Hockey for 5 to 12 year olds, and this group is rapidly growing with potential stars for the future. They train every week with our enthusiastic and experienced coaches supported by first and second team players, as well as other parent and junior volunteers.
We play our home games, and train at our own facilities on our multi-sport site at The Dalrod Sports Ground, Bretton Gate, Peterborough. The site includes our own AstroTurf pitch and clubhouse, as well as Tennis, Cricket, Bowls, Squash & Racketball which form part of our wider sports club.
