Safeguarding Training for Coaches and Officials

NEW WELFARE OFFICER TRAINING

The sessions are aimed at new welfare officers once they have completed their first mandatory safeguarding course or have confirmed their external safeguarding training. It will cover the practicalities of the role with the aim to increase knowledge and confidence.

Each session will be facilitated by two regional safeguarding officers and last approximately one hour. We have capped each session at 20 participants but will monitor demand and increase numbers and frequency as needed.

There will be other sessions added in due course.
