This was certainly a President’s Day with a twist; we broke with tradition and held it in September instead of July, and the current President, Gerry Bass, sadly was unable to attend his special day in the GLTC calendar as he was having to recuperate from an injury caused by tripping up during a walk.
On the day the sun was shining, a tournament with a sliding handicap was played and enjoyed by all, and an impressive tea was consumed.
The tournament was won by Katherine Hunt and Chris Lewis with Jane Donald and Alistair Mowbray as runners up.
Thanks to Sean for organising and running the tournament, to all those who contributed to the tea (especially the Pimms by Ros) and to all those involved in setting up before and tidying up after the event.
