Further improvements have now been carried out on the wire fencing at the clubhouse end of courts 4 and 5. The immediately visible aspect is the continuation of the green screening so that it now extends to the gate: see photograph above.
Not obvious at first sight is the fastening of the screening, along its length, so that it does not blow up in the wind and, further, the securing at the foot of the wire fencing itself to stop balls escaping underneath. In relation to the last point, members are requested not to attempt to gets balls which have found their way just over the fence by trying to retrieve them from underneath the screening and wire fencing.
