Link 19 College

We are looking forward to continuing to work with Link 19 College this autumn.

We finished the college year with a festival at the Riverside Centre where we welcomed 34 of their learners.  It was a beautiful afternoon and we had great fun with a carousel of activities for them.  We wish their leavers good luck on their next chapter and look forward to seeing a few new faces and familiar returners this autumn.

Link 19 is a Post-19 Specialist College for Learners aged 19-25 with an EHCP. Their main aim is to support and guide young adults into voluntary or paid employment.

Walking Tennis

We started Walking Tennis in April and have continued it throughout the summer.

Walking Tennis is played at a slower pace than the usual game with modified balls for a slower, lower bounce.  We use Walking Tennis rules such as 1 or 2 ball bounces during a rally and underarm or overarm serving. Everyone is welcome. The first week is free and then £4 pay as you go.  All equipment is provided.  Please contact Lorna on 07941-094156 for more information.

February 2025

We won the 2024 LTA County Winner for Tennis Opened Up Award for the Club's Gurdwara Gravesend Project to attract members of the Gurdwara community to play tennis.  Read about the project here.
