We’re excited to invite you to our FREE Tennis Open Day on Sunday 22nd June, from 10AM to 2 PM. Whether you’re a seasoned player or trying tennis for the first time, there’s something for everyone.

Try Tennis – No Experience Needed!

Everyone is welcome — all ages, all abilities. We’ll adapt our equipment so you feel confident and comfortable on court. Bring your family and friends and give tennis a go in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

Meet Our Team

Come and meet our amazing volunteers and Head Coach Tom Martin-Jarvis, a Level 4 Senior Performance Coach and Kent County Junior Captain. Tom works with players at all levels — from high-performance athletes to complete beginners — and is known for making sessions fun, inclusive, and engaging.

Sessions

Please sign up to all the sessions you wish to participate in below, and arrive at least 15 minutes before the start to register.

10am-Mini Tennis coaching for age 4-10

This session is played on smaller courts with softer balls.

If you have a Tennis racket then please bring it but if not then we can provide one for your child.

The session will include a warm up, coordination exercises, racket and ball skills, the basics of Tennis and fun games! 

Parents are welcome to stay on the court and watch or help if they would like.

10am-Cardio Tennis for age 16+

This session is for adults and juniors age 16+ played on full sized courts with normal balls. No Tennis Skills Needed: It’s all about moving and having fun! No prior experience or fancy techniques required.

If you have a Tennis racket then please bring it but if not then we can provide one for you.

The session combines easy-to-follow activities with energetic music to make exercise enjoyable.

Our friendly session focuses on fitness, not tennis expertise, so everyone can join in.

10.45am - Adult Coaching for age 16+

This session is for adults and juniors age 16+ played on full sized courts with normal (and adaptive tennis balls).

If you have a Tennis racket then please bring it but if not then we can provide one for you.

The session will include a warm up, coordination exercises, racket and ball skills, the basics of Tennis.

11.45am - Junior Coaching for age 10-16

This session is Junior Tennis for ages 10-16, played on a full size court.

If you have a Tennis racket then please bring it but if not then we can provide one for your child.

The session will include a warm up, racket and ball skills, the basics of Tennis including rallying and serving plus the basic rules and some fun games.

11.45am - Walking Tennis for all ages

This session is for any age, played on a full size court.

If you have a Tennis racket then please bring it but if not then we can provide one for you.

Walking Tennis is designed for anyone who wants to play tennis, regardless of age, skill level, or physical ability. It's a great option for those who are just starting out, returning from an injury, or simply prefer a slower, more relaxed pace or may have limited mobility or health conditions that might exclude you from traditional tennis.

12.30pm - Mini Tennis coaching for age 4-10

This session is played on smaller courts with softer balls.

10am-2pm Family Play

Come any time within these hours or stay after your coaching sessions for family play.

We have different sized rackets and courts and softer balls for younger players to help you feel good on court.

10am-2pm Adult Play Mix -in

Come any time within these hours or stay after your coaching sessions for Adult Social play.

Bring your own racket or borrow one and come have a hit with other club members.
