Dear Members,

Gravesham Tennis Club has always been more than a place to play tennis. It’s where children grow in confidence, where adults make friends, where older players stay active, and where people from every background come together. As a volunteer-run CASC club, our strength has always been our community.

But after more than 16 years of use, our bottom 5 courts were at the end of their life.

To protect the future of the club, the committee made the difficult decision to take out a large loan so the courts could be resurfaced. The work is now fully complete, and the courts look fantastic—but the financial burden remains, and this is where we need your help.

Your Donation Has Double the Impact

Sport England has backed our project with match funding.
If we reach our Crowdfunder target, they will double what we raise— up to £15,000.

That means every donation—no matter the size—goes twice as far.

Why This Matters

Gravesham needs places like ours more than ever. Our borough faces some of the highest inactivity levels in the region, and our club provides a safe, affordable, inclusive space for all ages and abilities.

From children picking up a racquet for the first time to our Walking Tennis groups and Link19 learners, we’re proud of the difference we make. Our recent LTA County Award for Tennis Opened Up shows just how impactful this club has become.

These new courts will help us continue that work for many years to come.
