Pangbourne Tennis Club held their first quiz night of the year on May 10th in the Pangbourne village hall and attracted over 75 participants, Club members, family, friends and members of the local community. All had a great time and the proceeds helped raise funds for the Club's Disability Tennis programme that started in April. 

Eleven teams were tested over nine rounds on subjects such as tennis, the natural world, general knowledge, music or food and drink. Pizzas were served at the mid session break, whilst the teams also bid for their pudding desserts via a silent auction. The quiz ended with a final "double or die" round which gave every team a chance to win. The "Wanderers Return" team held onto their lead to take the winners cup. Thanks to the generosity of the participants, the event raised over £1,250.
