The 8th 'Woodisse Cup' Croquet Competition

The ‘Woodisse Cup’ croquet competition took place this afternoon in very windy conditions, thankfully very little rain. Organised by Brian Clark, it was a great success and attracted a record 24 players. This friendly competition, which is in it's 8th year, is open to players mainly from Matterdale and Patterdale - no previous experience is neede, having fun is the aim. This year's competition was won by Tim Clarke and Clive Duerden.
