The Horam League, is a league of sixteen local clubs over three divisions playing competitive tennis to a good club standard. Previous match experience is not necessary, as the idea is a social competition among local East Sussex clubs. Anybody who can hold their own at a club session will be fine to play at this level.

Typically there will be 10 matches in a season, 5 home and 5 away. Matches are played on a Monday evening at 6.30pm and normally last around 1.5 hrs. Every player plays one best of 3 set match, there is one Mixed Doubles, one Men's Doubles and one Ladies Doubles match so each evening requires a team of 6 consisting of 3 men and 3 ladies.

After play, light refreshments/snacks are normally provided by the host club, if compliant with Covid socialising rules.

There is also a Horam League Knock Out Tournament where the club is able to enter team in the Ladies Doubles, Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles cups

Please note that you don't have to play in all the matches across the summer, your commitment to play can be tailored to your availability.
