At Reed’s Tennis School we love tennis and want to inspire you to love tennis too.

Here are some of reasons why we would like you to choose us:

We welcome all ages – we have players from 4 to 80 on our programme.

We welcome all standards – we have adult players who have played to a very high standard to those that have come back to tennis recently. We have juniors that are wanting to take their tennis to the next level and others who are fantastic school & club players and others who are just coming to tennis for the first time. All are welcome and we help everyone improve.

Our LTA Accredited Coaches have all been on different paths to get here, but we have some important things in common:

We all love tennis, we play regularly and compete at various levels.

We all take our own development as coaches seriously and are always improving our skills, knowledge & delivery.

We all are grateful for what tennis has given us whether that is travel opportunities, friendships, career opportunities and want to inspire you to enjoy the game too.

Our Sessions are fun and focused and we aim to stretch and support your tennis development. We teach you excellent technique and the tactical play to go with it through challenging and fun drills and match play. The majority of sessions are open to all standards and then split into ability groups so you can come along with a friend even if you are different standards.

Our fantastic facilities guarantee play all year round . We have 3 heated indoor acrylic courts , 3 newly resurfaced outdoor acrylic courts and 12 astros in the summer.

Our coaching sessions are open to everyone, including Reed’s pupils and families as well. There is no membership or joining fee.

Our Programme - we offer a variety of termly and pay as you go sessions for Juniors & Adults & camps during most holidays. We are continually developing our Programme to include new classes, fun events & tournaments. See our Coaching & Events page for the latest information.

Our commitment to Safeguarding - we take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously.  In our recent LTA Venue Minimum Standards Audit we exceeded  the standard required and passed the audit.

"Safeguarding has a rich thread throughout the school and tennis programme supported by comprehensive policies and procedures and led by professional, committed staff. The venue has exceeded the standard required to pass."

Our connection to the Reed’s Foundation which makes us different to other commercial clubs. Any surpluses made across Reed’s School Enterprises Ltd, of which Reed’s Tennis School is a part of, are gift aided to the Andrew Reed Foundation. Since it was established in 1813 the Andrew Reed Foundation has been transforming the lives of vulnerable children by providing the educational opportunities and pastoral care they need to realise their true potential and overcome the traumas of their past.
