Club play. Tuesday and Thursday evening (mixed) from 6pm and Monday morning from 9.30am.(ladies) and Monday and Thursday afternoon from 1pm (mens/mixed). 

League play  The club runs mens teams and ladies teams in the Avon County Summer and Winter Leagues.  We have two teams(mixed) in the Avon County Winter Leagues  Any club player has the opportunity to play through the club to find their own level of competition. If you are interested in playing in the league please contact the team captains Neil Willey or Ann Page.

Box League 

The Box League provides an easy way to play competitive mixed-sex singles tennis on a regular basis and is available to all adult members.

Run in rounds typically of 12 weeks long, each box usually consists of 6-8 players who self-arrange matches with each other, with promotion/relegation for the next round according to results.  Players entering the boxes should be committed to organising matches promptly in order to play all their box opponents within the time period – obviously sometimes injuries/life gets in the way so withdrawal & walkover arrangements do exist.

The playing format is the best of 13 games with normal deuces. If the match is 6 all in games then the 13th game is played as a tie break. The tie break is the first to 7 points and by 2 clear points.

New entrants are placed into an appropriate standard box as far as humanly possible.  At the end of the box, player scores are tallied up and new boxes arranged for the next round according to performance – the system of promotion/relegation usually works well to provide participants with matches at an appropriate playing standard, and to meet and play with a variety of members.

Court hire   Courts are free for members, available every day from 9am - 9:30pm. Book online or through the Play Tennis or Clubspark Booker app which can be downloaded onto your smart phone. There is a cost of £5 per hour if you need floodlights which come on automatically depending on the time of year and the expected level of light. This is paid online before your confirmation email is sent. If you cancel your booking at least an hour in advance this charge will be refunded
