The day began with a 30-minute inclusive taster session led by Andy, ably supported by Joyce Pickard and Tom Griffith. Two children who had never attended an inclusive tennis session before took part.

Andy introduced a range of ball skills before moving on to racket work, and in no time at all the children were hitting some excellent shots. They enjoyed the session so much that they have now joined our regular programme—exactly the outcome we had hoped for.

Danny Sapsford was keen to observe the session, and local Councillor Duncan Hounsell also attended, both impressed by what they saw.
