Club Night Guidance

On arrival, place your name tag in the bag provided so that shortly after 6pm a random draw can be made to determine the first matches. Everyone attending is encouraged to help arrange the draw.

Games are played first to 4. If a game reaches deuce, a golden point is played.
If you arrive after the first games have started, add your name to the sign-up sheet. Each group of 4 spaces represents a court and the next 4 players due to play. When the first group comes off court, the next 4 should go on immediately and delete their line from the sheet before playing.
After finishing your game, enter your name in the next available empty slot.

TUESDAY NIGHT FORMAT

Winning pairs are prioritised first.

If 3 slots are available, fill them with the winners and spin for the 'lucky loser'.

If only 1 slot is available, winners spin to decide who fills the spot; the others fill the next line below.

If 4 players come off court and only 4 are waiting, winners move to the next empty row while the losing pair waits on the row below.

When the next match finishes, the winning pair fills the first available row and the losing pair fills the second row.

When another court becomes available, the newest winning pair fills the first 2 spaces and plays again with the previous match winners, splitting partners. The losing pair fills the next box and later plays with the previous match losers, again splitting partners.

THURSDAY NIGHT FORMAT

Losing pairs are prioritised first.

If 3 slots are available, fill them with the losers and spin for the 'lucky loser'.

If only 1 slot is available, losers spin to decide who fills the spot; the others fill the next line below.

If 4 players come off court and only 4 are waiting, losers move to the next empty row while the winning pair waits on the row below.

When the next match finishes, the losing pair fills the first available row and the winning pair fills the second row.

When another court becomes available, the newest losing pair fills the first 2 spaces and plays again with the previous match losers, splitting partners. The winning pair fills the next box and later plays with the previous match winners, again splitting partners.

This format is designed to keep matches moving quickly, minimise waiting time, and provide a good mix of partners and opponents.
