Wivey tennis entered two teams for Ivor’s triples at Blackbrook. Excellent play alll round with our own Derek, Nicola and Roger (the three racketeers) winning 5 out of 6 games. And in 2nd place winning 4 out of 6 matches were our other team Triple Sec and defending champions of Helena, Mary, Nicky and Maggie.
The first match of the evening pitted Triple Sec against The Three Racketeers and was evenly poised at 14-14, meaning a sudden death, next point wins. The Three Racketeers took the spoils 15-14.
Next Third Thursday Thirsty Triples back on home soil is 15 June at 6.30pm.
