This week we held our first “Third Thursday Thirsty Triples” event. Played under normal triples rules but with the added bonus of nibbles and tipples in the clubhouse after play is complete.
The event was well attended with 15 players randomly put into 5 teams playing a round robin format with feeders in place to start each point . There were quite a few tight games before the final was contested between the teams consisting of Ben Harding, Martin Keane and Rachael Sharland v David Patterson, Sophie Wickins and Teresa Eaton.
The ultimate winners were Ben, Martin and Rachael pictured above.
