This week it was the turn of the ladies to compete for the doubles trophy. Under perfect playing conditions, the overall result came down to the wire with the eventual winners crossing the line by one clear game. The trophy was presented by Derek Greenway to Maggie Andrews and Sally Newberry (pictured above). In joint second place was Amy Greenway/Claire Marks and Helena Trump/Nicky Welch.
Our next tournament is the Men’s Doubles on Saturday 22nd July with play commencing at 3pm.
