Wivey Tennis Club's serene two-tone green courts turned into a multicoloured fun setting today for the first Junior Open Day for primary school kids.
Andrew Disney and Ivor Griffiths set out an an array of yellow strips, red and blue discs and day-glo trimmed nets to challenge youngsters from schools across our area.
Adult members turned into helpers for a day blessed with brilliant sunshine, with the whole club looking in sparkling form.
Next up is the annual club Open Day on Sunday June 4 from 10am, concentrating more on adult players who this year have a chance to try out new Head and Babolat racquets.
