Thank you for your interest in joining the Frome Tennis Club community. Our friendly club welcomes new members of all levels and every age.  Membership packages for the 26/27 membership year will be advertised from 23 March 2026.  Our membership year for 25/26 is now closed.

We have a thriving club community of over 150 members. Joining the club as a Full Adult Member (our most popular package) means you get fully inclusive access to:

• Three artificial grass courts
• Three hard courts
• Invites to a variety of social tennis sessions including our popular Club Nights twice a week
• Fully equipped comfortable Club House with hot and cold drink facilities, TV and seating
• Clean and modern toilets and shower room with lockers
• Ball machine sessions
• Tennis ladders
• Book courts up to three weeks in advance
• Team memberships for competitive tennis
• membership for your children included in your package
• Invites to enter the annual Frome Tennis Club Championships to really make your mark
• Social evenings and Stephen's (Head Coach) famous barbeques

Please note, our membership year is fixed, running from 1 April for 12 months. The membership prices for some packages reduce in September and January to take account of the fact that the prime playing season has finished. Payments can be made in full or instalments .  

Club nights are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays of every week at our club: from 6pm onwards and between 10.00 and 12.00 on the same days for Weekday members.

These are predominantly for adult members of an appropriate level. Junior players who would like to join in with their parent/guardian are very welcome, subject to invitation by our Head Coach Stephen Marcelle, in order to help develop there game on multiple surfaces. As a family orientated club, we strongly believe Juniors are the future of racket sports and also club succession! 

We offer a reduced price ‘Weekday’ package which is strictly for Monday-Friday 8am - 6pm court use and does not allow for joining in at Club Nights or booking courts on the weekends.  There is also our new Pickleball Membership, which gives access to our two pickleball courts, weekly club sessions and all the club facilities.

As a small community racket sports club, we rely on membership revenue to maintain our brilliant facilities. Any profit is re-invested in the club facilities. We encourage anyone who can afford to to join as a Full Adult Member. This also means our member community grows in numbers which has a multitude of benefits.

A concessionary discount of 50% is available on all Membership Packages to those who can provide evidence to the Membership Secretary that at the time of joining or renewing, you are receiving one of the state benefits listed:

• working in receipt of any benefit and with a family income below the benefits cap
• unemployed and in receipt of a state benefit
• a dependent of someone who is in receipt of benefits
