We enter a number of teams across several leagues in the region and county:

Mixed doubles Harrogate & District League - 3 teams in divisions 1,2 and 6 

Men's doubles York League - 2 teams in divisions 1 and 4

Competitive tennis for juniors

We work very hard at Harrogate Racquets to provide our junior tennis members with the opportunity to supplement their coaching with various competitive challenges. We feel that to get the best out of our younger members we want an enviroment where our players can practice the skills they learn in a coaching group and put them into a match play scenario. In doing this we run several Junior Competitions at different stages of the year.

Weekly in-house Match Play

Every Saturday we endevaour to run a weekly tournament between 4.00-7.00pm. These tournaments are aimed at various age groups and count towards a players LTA rating. The competing juniors can expect to play several matches (usually using a timed tennis format) and work towards improving their ratings.

Open LTA graded Tournamnets

LTA graded events (starting at the grade 5 level) and will allow other juniors to compete against juniors within the club. These tournaments will allow everyone to work towards both their LTA rating, and their LTA ranking.
