ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A VENUE FOR HIRE?

Our Clubhouse is available for hire at weekends, evenings, and during the day.  The function room seats up to 80 (110 otherwise i.e. buffet style).  There is a large patio area outside together with a large grassed area with picnic tables. 

Available to non-club members as well as members at a very reasonable cost.  It is frequently used for birthday and anniversary parties, wedding receptions, wakes, regular weekly clubs and activities (bridge clubs and Music with Mummy toddlers sessions are held here every week).

We have a fully licensed Bar, large patio area, fully equipped kitchen and all the usual facilities.  Hirers are able to do their own catering if they wish.

Hire Charges at the Avenue Tennis Club – TA8 2PA

1.  The basic clubhouse hire charge is £25 per hour. (25% Discount for Members)
2. The club makes an additional charge for use of its kitchen and for this the charge is £25.
3. Corkage – £5.00 per bottle (which includes VAT at 20%).  Club members receive a discount of 20%.
4. Bar Hire – the charge for use of the bar will be £10.50 / bar person /hr.  There is a £25.00 fee for an extention of bar hours if required.
5. Projector – £25.00 for hire of the projector system if required
6. Please note – the hired is required to pay and additional refundable deposit of £50.00 at the outset.  This will be banked by the club prior to the event but refunded to the hirer within 7 days of the conclusion of the function provided the club does not suffer any material damage to its property and no further additional chargeable aspects are added for acceptance of the agreement to hire.
7. Full payment to be made 1 month prior to your booking, by BACS or by cheque, made payable to the Avenue Tennis Club.  If the event if cancelled 1 month prior to the date of the event a full refund will be issued; if the cancellation is less than a month to the date of the booking then we will not be a position to refund the payment except in exceptional circumstances.
