Come along to Sunday social – simply turn up and play! It gives you a chance to play, meet new friends and improve your tennis game! Chance to improve doubles gameplay in a fun and friendly environment. The session will run from 10am to midday, and is for adults of all standrads and also children who have obtained their club colours.

Maintenance Morning

Saturday 12th April, 9am-12 noon

To help keep running costs of the club down we welcome all volunteers. We all 'muck in' and you can meet old and new friends. Whether you're a keen D.I.Y.er or a Professional Bodger we have small jobs for everyone, such as weeding, painting and hedge trimming (to name but a few) in order to keep the Clubhouse and Grounds in a good state of repair. If you are able to come along and help please could you contact David Paine. Please bring with you your own work gloves.  We are particularly interested in anyone who has a tow bar as one of the jobs will be emptying the trailer at the back of the clubhouse to the nearest bottle bank. Some lunch and a drink will be provided to all volunteers.

Mens Social Day

Saturday 7th June

Quick heads up for all the Gentlemen of Bearsted Tennis Club! The annual men's Social Day will be back this year on Saturday 7th June. There is no need to do anything now other than mark the date in your calendar and avoid anything else from taking it's place!

Entries will open in April and as last year was another 'sold out' event, you will need to be quick off the mark when the entries open!

Looking to change up the format a little this year where people are playing with different partners across the afternoon albeit still having 2 seeded groups so that everyone has a chance to make the semis and finals!

The bar will be well stocked and open all day long, and we'll hopefully lay on a BBQ like last year. There will be a small cost that will be confirmed nearer the time which will be payable on the day.

More to follow from the organiser Alastair Hill.
