Social tennis every Sunday
10am-12noon
Come along to Sunday social – simply turn up and play! It gives you a chance to play, meet new friends and improve your tennis game! As a member of Bearsted & Thurnham Tennis Club, social tennis is a free session, and is a great way to get fit and active on a Sunday morning! Chance to improve doubles gameplay in a fun and friendly environment. The session will run from 10am to midday, and is for adults of all standrads and also children who have obtained their club colours.
Walking Tennis
Friday evenings, 6-7pm
Following on from the successful Walking Tennis taster sessions we will be holding further sessions on Friday evenings 6-7pm. The first 6-week course will be starting on 6th June and costs £48
If you are interested in attending the first 6 week course then please contact Heather Massey to book your place. If you're unsure what walking tennis involves and want to try a taster session, then please contact Heather to let her know.
Darts Box League
Why not join our Darts Box League - novices thro' to proficient players are all welcome (members only).
501 double finish for the proficient boxes and to encourage those who would like to join in and improve along the way in the novices boxes, it'll be 301 with NO double finish required.

Thanks to Mario Aristides for organising and launching the Darts Box League and to Kenny Cox who has volunteered to manage the Box League for us moving forwards.
All members, please use the club's booking system to book the dart board for Box Matches or organised social play (dart board bookings take priority over ad-hoc use).
Members please note that the main clubroom may be unavailable to members during Poker Club nights (the clubroom will be booked through the booking system).
Maintenance Mornings
Saturday 18th April, 4th July, 3rd October 2026, from 9am
To help keep running costs of the club down we welcome all volunteers. We all 'muck in' and you can meet old and new friends. Whether you're a keen D.I.Y.er or a Professional Bodger we have small jobs for everyone, such as weeding, painting and hedge trimming (to name but a few) in order to keep the Clubhouse and Grounds in a good state of repair. If you are able to come along and help please could you contact David Paine. Please bring with you your own work gloves.
Some lunch and a drink will be provided to all volunteers.
