Welcome to Bishop’s Castle Tennis Club!
A friendly, welcoming and inclusive club set in the beautiful Shropshire Hills, offering great value for players of all ages and abilities.
We are delighted to announce that Bishop's Castle Tennis Club has been granted charitable status. Registered charity number 1211728
For over 100 years, tennis has been played on our appropriately named Love Lane grounds, with their spectacular views of the south Shropshire hills, buzzards and red kites.
The courts are in a superb location adjacent to the A488 road, a short distance from the town centre. We're less than a 10-minute walk from town by public footpath, and car parking is available.
We have 2 floodlit hard courts and an AstroTurf court which are played all year round.

Coaching
Our new coaching season starts with an adult doubles session and a 4-week junior course.
Adult coaching: Wednesday 29 April, 16:00–18:00. We are pleased to host a 2-hour doubles coaching session from Mike Barton of We Do Tennis. This is aimed at improvers and team players.
One-off session, £12.50. More details and booking here:
2-hour adult masterclass — We Do Tennis Coaching
Junior coaching: Wednesday 6 May to Wednesday 27 May. This is a 4-week course 'Ace the Basics', £19.99.
