It is with a broken heart that I need to let everyone know that Lynn, my wife of 47 years, passed away at Ayr Hospital on Saturday 20th December. I drove her from the tennis courts to the A&E department as fast as I could, but her heart gave out as she was wheeled into the reception area. The staff tried to work a miracle for over an hour, but her heart simply refused to restart. The staff were absolutely amazing and supportive but I am completely bereft and lost without her. I will let people know when the funeral arrangements are in place for a simple ceremony because I can't handle anything more than that. I hope you understand.
