Reporting a Concern and Form
If you have a concern about the abuse of a child or adult, please report it to the Club Child Wellbeing and Protection Officer (CWPO) who will help. Alternativley, you can download a form from the Downloads section, or you can complete an online form provided by the LTA.
The online form must only be used to report a safeguarding concern to the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). A safeguarding concern could involve an allegation of abuse or being worried that a child or adult at risk (as defined by the Care Act 2014) may be at risk of harm, or may have been harmed.
If your concern relates to the abuse of a child or adult at risk this would be investigated by the (LTA) Safeguarding Team. If the report relates to a low-level concern, it may be that the LTA will use the report for recording/information purposes, or to provide advice/support for the matter to be dealt with locally (i.e., county organisation or club).
Parents, players and coaches can also contact Mat Hulbert (Tennis Scotland) if they have any questions about safeguarding as part of his role at Tennis Scotland. Mat can be contacted on 01786 641716 ext. 2012 or on email matthew.hulbert@tennisscotland.org.
