Our Team has built an extensive coaching programme with opportunities to play, coach & compete on offer most days of the week & all year round.

CLUB COACHING GROUP RATES

One hour group sessions are typically charged at £3 members & £4 non-members. Two hour or 90 minute sessions are £5 members & £6 non-members. Mini & Junior Club Night ( WED 4-6pm) is charged at £4 members & £5 non-members.

WHEN AVAILABLE  - One hour 6-week sessions (see below) are currently £29.99 with a 21", 23" or 25" racket.  We are looking at opportunities re reintroduce these courses soon!

The 2023/24 PUBLIC FAMILY & JUNIOR membership is just £35 for a whole year & includes multiple junior memberships where the family has more than one child & FREE all year round family court booking via our website or the BOOKER mobile app.

MINI & JUNIOR WHATS APP GROUPS - these are the best way to communicate with other age group parents on competition & coaching  attendance e.g. for peers to attend coaching or competitions together

MINI: Mini RED 8U (2015 or later), Mini ORANGE 9U (2014/15), Mini GREEN 10U (2013/14),

JUNIOR: 11U (2012/13), 12U JUNIOR (2011/12), 14U/16U/18U JUNIOR (2010 or earlier)

LTA YOUTH COMPETE REWARDS

LTA Youth Compete Rewards - LTA Youth Compete Rewards started in 2023 with mini matches from 1st January 2023 counting towards a players rewards total. Ilfracombe 8U, 9U & 10U players are rewarded with a FREE Mini T-shirt once they achieve 20 matches in a mini ball colour (Red, Orange or Green) & a FREE Mini Hoody once they achieve 40 matches. This impacts players born 2013 or later. A scheme for players born 2012 or earlier is under consideration...

After school coaching opportunities are available Monday to Friday during term-time as follows:

4-5pm - Mini RED (8U) typically 4-7 year old beginner/intermediate
4-6pm - Mini & Junior Match Play & Coaching

TUESDAYS

4-6pm - Mini ORANGE/GREEN (intermediate/advanced)
6-730pm - Junior YELLOW Ball (advanced)

WEDNESDAYS

4-6pm - MINI & Junior Kids Club Night
6-730 - Junior GREEN/YELLOW Ball intermediate/advanced

THURSDAYS

4-6pm - Mini ORANGE/GREEN (intermediate/advanced)
6-730pm - Junior YELLOW Ball (advanced)

FRIDAYS

4-6pm - Mini GREEN & YELLOW ball (intermediate/advanced)

WEEKENDS:

SATURDAYS

9-10am - Mini RED (8U) 4-7 year old beginner/intermediate
10-12pm - Mini RED/ORANGE/GREEN Developement (intermediate/advanced aged 7/10+)
12-3pm  - Mini/Junior GREEN/YELLOW (Intermediate/Advanced aged  10/14+)

DAYTIME HOLIDAY SESSIONS 

SESSION GUIDE - 9/10am-12pm - the first "early bird" hour is typically a coaching hour to develop beginners/improvers & thus is suited to both approx 4-9 year old beginners attending the first hour alone & 7-9 year old improvers attending through to 12pm. Older beginners may also be suited to this session  

12-3pm - is suited to approx 9-15 year old intermediate & advanced juniors that typically compete in junior competition

Holiday Camp sessions are now charged at £5 members for the 2 /3 hour session & £6 non-members. Some mini's & juniors may do  morning & afternoon sessions (full day).

HOME SCHOOL INITIATIVE

THURSDAYS  215pm - We have restarted our Home School Tennis initiative, offering local children who are home schooled the chance to do some daytime tennis with other children who are home schooled. If you are interested in Home School Tennis please contact Gary Tovey.
