Winter League
The club has entered two teams in the North East Club Winter League for the 2023/24 season.
Each team for a match consists of two women and two men. Play begins with a women's doubles and a men's doubles played over two sets. Then there are two mixed doubles, also played over two sets.
The matches are scheduled by the League and these nearly always fall on a Sunday morning at 10.30.
Group matches are played from October to January, then knockout matches are played in February and March, with a view to a finale and presentation day on 2nd April 2024.

Note that the organisers of the Winter League are pushing to have all players registered as LTA Advantage members, and through this membership to have a WTN (World Tennis Number). Instructions for becoming an LTA Advantage member, if you're not already a member, and obtaining a WTN are laid out in this document.
For reasons best known to themselves, the organisers of the North East Club Winter League have decided to give our two teams the names 'Morpeth 2' and 'Morpeth 3'. I guess that this is because we have entered our teams for tiers 2 and 3 of the league structure. It's a bit confusing, though, since we have no 'Morpeth 1' team.
