PROMOTION FOR NORTHUMBERLAND MEN’S COUNTY TEAM AT 2023 COUNTY WEEK
Northumberland Men’s County Team travelled to Hunstanton in Norfolk to compete in Group 7 at County Week held during 24th-28th July 2023.
After some near misses in previous years, the Team were looking for a promotion and this year got off to a good start by beating Bedfordshire 8-1 in their first match. This was followed by a 3-6 loss against Gloucestershire the following day but the final two days saw the Team secure wins against Cornwall 6-3 and Sussex 6-3 to secure promotion to Group 6 for 2024.
The Team comprised: Adam Boba (Team Manager and Captain), Steven Milne, Jordan Simpson, Sam Knowles, Will Gray, Matthew Nice, Cormac Lunn, Ronan Lunn, Lewis Scott and Andrew Hunsley.
