Ladies Wellness: Tennis, Pickle and Cake!
This is a social prescribing project, designed for women of any age who have been signposted by their GP or other medical / wellbeing professional to take part in a physical health and wellbeing activity in 2026. Tennis, Pickle & Cake is a free, friendly and supportive introduction to tennis and pickleball, with no previous experience needed and all equipment provided.
Sessions run Thursday afternoons, March–May 2026
This initiative is all about improving physical health, confidence and social connection in a safe, inclusive environment. If you are eligible - or know someone who may benefit, we’d really appreciate your support in spreading the word.
Welcome to Radyr Lawn Tennis Club, Cardiff
We are a friendly, well-established club located in the heart of Radyr village, just 6 miles north of Cardiff. Our facilities include 10 courts in total:
- 6 Tiger Turf courts (4 with floodlights)
- 3 Artificial Clay courts (all with floodlights)
- 4 purpose-built Pickleball courts (non-floodlit)
The Club boasts modern clubhouse facilities, recently upgraded to include a versatile Function Room and a fully stocked Bar with a great selection of draught ales, lagers, and ciders – all at very reasonable prices.
Our Coaching Programme is proud to be one of a select number of UK clubs recognised as an LTA Youth Recognised Venue, a kitemark celebrating our commitment to delivering an excellent junior pathway. This includes Junior & Adult Tennis Classes, Pickleball Courses and our popular School Holiday Kids Camps.
