This year's Ted Bowles Tournament was played in beautiful sunshine and great spirit on Saturday. 16 club players of all abilities joined for a handicapped tournament of seven short rounds, semi-finals and final.
Chocolate biscuits helped the crowd support our finalists Joe and Shonagh versus Beat and Lisa. After a very close match, the victors were Joe and Shonagh. A great morning was had by all players.
Ted was a well respected member of the club and would have been very pleased. Many thanks to Caroline Williams for organising the event. We look forward to many more tournaments in years to come!
