Throughout the evening we had up to 35 +members watching and playing , eating and drinking , and being treated to a fantastic men’s club finals.
John G and Len played for the Plate, with John winning 6/2: keeping us all entertained with some really high quality rallies, well played.
Adam and Chris then battled it out for the Single’s title with a fantastic display of quality tennis. Adam won through in the end, 5/7 7/6 7/5, thank you both for an absolute treat! In the Awards Declan was voted our most improved player.
Thank you to Andrew and Sheila J for the presentation .
Thank you to the decorating team for the work you have done on transforming the tennis hut and loos, as well as the flower pots and lights, it all looks fantastic .
And lastly to follow up on from Andrew’s words on the night, it's a goodbye from us all to Lance , who has been a fantastic supporter of the club. We will miss you…
