Alsager B Team is celebrating after two of its players won the end of season tournament at Florence.
In a gruelling night of tennis, Dean Boston and Matt Simpson emerged victorious after more than three and a half hours on court.
The pair took on home couple Neil McPherson and youngster Oscar Stockdale in the final, winning 6-4.
Boston and Simpson had raced to an early 3-0 lead, twice breaking their opponents' serve.
Florence broke back to get on the board, but the three-game lead was quickly restored as McPherson's service game was broken again.
Stockdale and Simpson both held serve to take the set to 5-2, but Florence game roaring back to make it 5-4.
After some average serving with wet balls, Simpson saved his best service game till last, winning the match with an unreturnable outswinger down the centre.
Simpson and Boston were delighted with the result, avenging an earlier 4-3 loss to the Florence pair in the opening match of the group stage.
The group stage also saw more revenge as Boston and Simpson fought back from 0-3 down to beat Basford 5-4 - a result which saw Alsager pip Basford into second place and secure a spot in the final.
Elsewhere, Clive Young and Martin Bancroft also did Alsager proud, finishing fourth in the group stage and even beating the eventual winners with some pinpoint serving and fine drop shots.
