OCTOBER

Club Tournament singles and doubles finals: Round robin matches took place over the summer with the finals taking place thoughout October.

Head over to news to see the eventual winners but many thanks to all those involved in organising the tournament and, of course, all our amazing club members taking part.  

Veteran ladies' open doubles tournament: Well done to all those who played in our Ladies’ Seniors Open Tennis Tournament at BTC.

12 pairs took part, representing 16 clubs from across Somerset and Devon.

A BIG thank you to all organisers and helpers but especially to Carole for making it all happen, Jeff our expert referee, Jan and Mary for providing our delicious lunch. Thanks also goes to Somerset LTA for donating the balls and the trophy.

Many congratulations to the overall winners Liz Deem and Alice Yarde (Taunton) and the runners-up Amanda Campbell and Lucy Binns (Chard)

SEPTEMBER

Club Tournament mixed doubles finals: 15 pairs of mixed doubles competed for the coveted club mixed doubles trophy.

Congratulations to Gabbie & Carole who beat Dan & Nicky in a close final 7-5.

Semi-finalists were Rafa & Sue H, Rich & Emily.

A fun and very enjoyable day was had by all, with good weather and delicious homemade cakes too.
