Charnwood Tennis Club hosted a record breaking club play afternoon on Saturday 25th January.
Despite the cold, a record number of almost 30 keen members participated in the session of tennis at the club’s Nanpantan Sports Ground base.
The ethos of the afternoon’s activity is that members of the club play fun doubles matches for approximately 25 minutes before swapping round to play with and against as many different players as possible.
Club Spokesman Andrew Smith said: “It's fabulous how popular our tennis club play is. Numbers are continuing to rise and as a club we are going from strength to strength both on and off the court.
“We are an inclusive club and welcome players of all abilities including beginners, intermediary players, county representatives and even Grand Slam Champions!"
