Introduction
Welcome to Oaks & District Tennis Club
Our small, friendly Club is located in the beautiful Charnwood (National) Forest. Our membership ranges from young adults to octogenarians! We have three outdoor hard courts (two of which have floodlights). Apart from exceptional weather conditions, we play throughout the year – winter and summer alike.
Club play (open to all members) takes place on Tuesday evenings, Wednesday mornings and Saturday afternoons (just turn up, no booking required).
We field two mens’ and two women’s teams for matchplay in the summer and winter Leicestershire Leagues. Mens’ practice is on Monday or Wednesday evenings, women’s is on Thursday evenings.
We have a Clubhouse with kitchen facilities, space for holding meetings and separate mens’ and women’s washrooms/toilets. Social activities include quiz nights, summer barbecues on our lawns and Club tournaments.
