Welcome to Loughborough Greenfields Tennis Club
Introduction
Welcome to Loughborough Greenfields Tennis Club. The Club, which is part of Loughborough Greenfields Sport and Social Club has been running for over 60 years, originally owned by Fisons, it is now privately owned and occupies a 3.7 acre site on Holt Drive.
The club has a friendly atmosphere and provides recreational and competitive tennis for local players of all ages and ability. Members have the opportunity to take part in weekly club days, coaching or our competitive teams, who play in the Leicestershire Tennis Leagues.
The 3 all-weather courts benefit from floodlights for year round play, a pavilion with changing facilities and raised spectator seating area.
New members and visitors are always welcome at the club. To find out more about what is on offer, contact us online or why not come along to speak to us on our Sunday morning club session from 11am each week, or Wednesday evening club night from 6.30pm.
What’s On Offer?
Loughborough Greenfields Tennis Club is a very friendly club. We welcome players of all ages and abilities.
- For the competitive player: Our Men’s and Ladies’ teams play in the Leicestershire Summer and Winter leagues. Our mixed team plays in the Autumn League. The club is always on the look out for more players to strengthen the teams.
- For the social player: Members are welcome to join our social tennis days on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm and Sundays from 11am. During the year we hold a range of club tournaments and social events. These friendly competitons are an ideal opportuity for adult and junior beginners and improvers to take part and have fun.
- For the Junior player: Coaching takes place throughout the week, and junior players have priority play on Saturday mornings. See our Coaching Page for more information.
- Coaching: Inidvidual and group coaching is available from our Club Coaches to develop all standards of play from beginners to improvers. See the Coaching page for more details.
