Mens I

A superb performance against previously unbeaten LFE team by the 1sts. Despite a tweak in the lineup and a multitude of in play injuries, the lads battled through a really tough LFE team to pick up an important win. Having now defeated the top two teams in the league, the 1st find themselves in a really solid league position. Well played to James C, Olly, Chris, James G, Jake & Hassan

Mens II

Another very good performance from Mens II as the promotion charge gathers more pace. Fantastic showing from all and the win makes it 5 from 5 extending the lead at the top of Division 6. Lovely work from Daren, Stu, Mehmood, George, Jack & Rob!

Ladies I

Tough night on the court for the ladies who suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of unbeaten Leicestershire. Still, a couple of vital sets picked up which helps keep the team in the top 4 of the league. Keeping that momentum going and continuing to very much hold their own at a very high level

Located in the historic town of Wigston, Leicestershire, Wigston Tennis Club offers a vibrant and welcoming environment for tennis enthusiasts of all levels.. Our facilities include four Savannah tennis courts, with two recently replaced in 2024, and a cosy clubhouse, providing a great space for members and club events.  If you're interested in joining check out our membership section.

We also offer an excellent coaching program led by our dedicated club coach, Mytch. Coaching sessions are available for both juniors and adults, with classes running on Saturday afternoons and Thursday evenings. Whether you're new to the game or looking to sharpen your skills, our coaching program is designed to help players of all ages and abilities reach their full potential.

We pride ourselves on being a competitive club with a strong team presence in the Leicestershire Tennis Leagues. Our members compete across multiple divisions, representing the club in:

• Ladies Team
• Mixed Team
• Mens and Ladies Vets' Team (Over 40s)
• Super Vets' Team (Over 60s)
