Charnwood Tennis Club arranged their fifteenth edition of their annual Christmas Walk on the morning of Saturday 27 December.

A small number of members ventured out on the ramble looking to walk off some of their turkey dinners.

Walkers met at the club’s base at the Nanpantan Sports Ground and walked for four miles around The Outwoods before returning to the clubhouse for a selection of delicious warming homemade soups.

The walk was blessed with mostly dry weather, and organiser Alison Clarke was pleased with the turn out given the busy time of year.

The Club is looking forward to another successful 2026, both on and off the court, with the next social event being a much-anticipated, sold-out quiz night.
