Charnwood Ladies third team played their latest tennis doubles match at home against Belvoir Vale firsts at the Nanpantan Sports Ground on Thursday 9 May.
The format for these Leicestershire summer league matches is that each pairings plays three sets, one set against each of the opposition pairs.
On a glorious evening, the hosts played some excellent tennis, but came up just sort, defeated by five sets to four.
The Charnwood side will take positives into the rest of the campaign including the impressive form of Naomi Vanlint and Mia Palmar who teamed up superbly to win all three of their sets.
