At Cheddar Tennis Club's recent AGM, Sohail Syed and Ros King were announced as joint winners of the ACE Award in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the club over the last year.

Presenting the award, chairperson Sarah Strawbridge thanked Sohail for his tireless work as maintenance officer, including arranging the upcoming LED court lighting and keeping the courts in tip-top condition.

Ros has been the Club's Communications Officer for the last seven years and is now standing down from the Committee. During this time she has had over 80 articles published in the local press.
