Our aim, following LTA guidelines, is to utilise resources efficiently to reduce waste and energy usage. The following items are in place and ongoing.

• Water pipes lagged
• Eco friendly cleaning products replacing existing items when finished
• Food waste recycled
• Cleaner, Nikki, to separate and recycle bin waste where possible
• Electricity, SSE
• Any paintwork to be undertaken with environmentally friendly paint
• Security sensor lighting, timed
• New motorised court brush purchased instead of hiring a company that has to travel from Dorset
• Environmentally friendly moss killer purchased for treating the courts
• Green foliage waste to recycling centre in Cheddar
• Land drainage pipes laid across carpark to ease flooding during the Winter season
• Second-hand ball machine donated to club with rechargeable battery
• Ball recycling to local schools for playground use
• Head Coach, Captains and Chairman to encourage car sharing to and from Club and Away matches
• Sponsorship for Cheddar First School tree carving project, Summer 2024
• LED Floodlighting now installed
• Old Tennis balls are re-presurised to prolong use.

• Junior Members encouraged to make bug hotels to encourage insects
• Butterfly and bee-loving plants to be planted.
